Love Echoes
In a celebration of our rainbow community, the Australian Queer Orchestra's inaugural concert, Love Echoes was a one-hour chamber orchestra concert of classical and contemporary works by queer composers.
This concert featured works by Australian composers Christina Green, William Yaxley Ryley Gillen and arranger Tim Verdon. The program also included a new work based on the themes of Tchaikovsky's 6th Symphony, the Pathétique Symphony which coupled Tchaikovsky's music with the narration of his letters to a male lover.
